You Have a Choice, They Don’t!

We are humans, we are not animals. Our thinking is higher class and much more superior. So why do you want to think like an animal? Simply just look at what is around you – we have all sorts of things like technology, skyscrapers, imagination, we have millions of things that animals do not. Animals are restricted to be able to perform only a certain number of things. Their brains are only capable of doing so much and only capable of making certain choices for their survival. This is not the case when it comes to humans. We are capable of making all sorts of choices, we can choose how we want to live our life and survive, we can choose our lifestyle. I feel we as a human race should make choices where other living beings are not sacrificed for our sake.

Tell me this, if we have a choice of saving someone’s family member and life, then why ignore that choice and take that family member and life. Just imagine for a second, if a member of your family was grasped from you for the sole purpose of someone’s satisfaction, now would that be fair? Would that be moral? I guess you can never truly understand the extent of hurt it can cause until it actually happens. So for that same reason, make moral choices my friend! Think, think, think!

We are humans, we are smart, and we can make our own choices. We should all live in peace with one another, for the betterment of us and everything around us. We can all contribute to make this earth we share a better place. We can all reduce our ecological footprint. All it takes is awareness, and acting on that awareness. We have choices! We can make choices!

Do You Really Know Anything about What You Eat?

The truth is most non-vegetarians are just oblivious to what they are eating and where what they are eating came from. However, in some cases non-vegatarians  just pretend to be oblivious to how the meat they are consuming came from.

The vast majority of the meat that is consumed by non-vegetarians comes from a very cruel, inhumane process, at least in my opinion. What you see in a beautiful and appealing, nicely packed package of meat at a shelf of your local supermarket is nothing but murder neatly packed into a a package for you to consume.

So is it that you support murder? Is it that you just don’t care enough for other living beings? I urge you to ask yourself what good it is that comes out of consuming meat apart from “taste” or “protein” because that is a lie. You want taste or protein? Well then there is an abundant number of vegetarian options you can pursue that will give you “taste” and “protein”.

All in all, it is extremely important to create this awareness. To be aware of what you consume. To be aware of how exactly you got what you consumed. To be aware of the harsh truths behind these massive meat industries and slaughterhouses. So common now, be aware would you?!

A Meat Eater’s Perception on Vegetarianism

cropped-eatvegetarian.pngMost non-vegetarians are generally under the assumption that if you are a vegetarian, then that means you only eat items such as salads; that is absolutely incorrect. Salads are not an appetizing option regardless of whether you are a non-vegetarian or a vegetarian. Vegetarians have thousands and thousands of dishes to choose from just like non-vegetarians do. Every single cuisine you can possible think of comprises of vegetarian options. Vegetarian options are not inferior options. Vegetarian options are nothing but a dish without meat. It has nothing to do with worse tastelessness.

I encourage you to go to one of your favorite restaurants once and try out one of their vegetarian options instead of their meat options. I am sure you will be satisfied, and if not, then try out your second favorite restaurant. There are thousands of vegetarian dishes out there that will suit your taste and need, you just need to find them. Another option can be just cooking yourself. A great place to find recipes is the internet itself. You can try find new and innovative dishes, or whatever that may you may find appealing.

I have been vegetarian my WHOLE life. Personally, I have never eaten or touched meat. You may be thinking that I am crazy and missing out on the “good” food, which is meat, but the truth is I am more than happy and satisfied that I have been vegetarian. Which human does not like to eat tasty food? Because I indubitably do, in fact I am a big foody myself. Believe when I say there is tasty food for vegetarians, hence why I have had no need to pursue meat options. But let me clarify the fact, that we do not live to eat, we eat to live. So we do not need meat to live, we can survive solely on plant based foods. I ask you one thing, why do you want to satisfy your stomach with the murder of another living organism. Therefore, open your mind, start experimenting, start realizing what is virtuous and what it not, what really matters in life and what doesn’t.
